Description of service
My girlfriend and I just recently went on a "ghost walking tour," of our historic city of Louisville, Kentucky! We paid thirty five dollars each to go on the walking tour and this included the tour itself, access to two buildings that are otherwise off limits to the public, a refreshing bottle of water (or how ever many you wanted to drink) and it also paid for the time of our tour guide. For some odd reason there was no tax charged on the walking tour, or maybe it was already part of the initial price. I did not tip the tour guide either.
Review of Service
The tour guide was a little over dramatic at times, but I guess seeing as how it was a "ghost walking tour," a little acting was probably in order. He was very knowledgeable when it came to the city of Louisville and he really seemed to love his job which made me more enthused about seeing the stops on the walking tour.
Tips
Where comfortable shoes and loose clothing if going on a walking tour during warm or hot weather! Also, I would suggest going on a tour that you are really passionate about! I love hauntings and ghost stories so this tour was perfect for me and well worth the price!
