Description of service
I pay $134 per month for my health insurance from an HMO. The money is automatically withdrawn from my bank account on the first of each month. Having the automatic withdrawal option saves me about $6 per payment. I do pay a little more by going with a monthly payment, instead of paying annually for the insurance. This premium is for both myself and my spouse. It covers doctors appointment, emergency visits, and longterm health services. The copay is $15 for office visits and $150 for the emergency room. The deductible is $5000. The insurance pays 80% after the deductible is met.
Review of Service
I am really happy with this particular health insurance. It has enabled us to purchase decent health insurance, at an affordable rate. The insurance agents are very helpful. We have never had a problem with doctors visits not getting paid. The copay is cheap, which is nice.
Tips
If you are in need of health insurance, you might consider going with an HMO. You should definitely look at the differences between an HMO and a PPO to see which type of insurance is right for you. An HMO often offers full coverage, with lower copays. However, they often have a lot of restrictions that might be a match for you.
