the Cost of Cobblers and Shoe Repair for Women's Dress Shoes

I brought my office pumps to for heel restoration / repair. The fee covered the cost of the heel replacement, as well as the service. No taxes in my receipt. As we agreed on a price beforehand, I did not give a gratuity.

I like this shoe repair shop because they cleaned my repaired shoes as part of the service, which makes it seem like more value for my money. The service was quick and efficient, as I dropped the shoe in the morning going to work and was able to pick it up on my way home in the afternoon. The cobbler is very nice, polite and helpful. He asked me how much I bought the shoe for, before recommending a replacement heel/ price. I liked that there are many materials and options to choose from. I also liked that the store had other products like shoe horns/ trees, shoe shine products and umbrellas, and a very good in-house shoe shine service.

Pick a cobbler and stick with him. The more business I gave mine, the lower my repair costs. Also, since he also did other services, such as key duplication and bag repairs, I get special prices on those too.
