Description of service
I have some expensive walking boots that I love. The heel began slipping on one of them, and I also needed new sole and a good shine. I found someone who had a small shop and had all these services performed for $40. I thought this was a steal and a deal! I gave him a tip of $20.
Review of Service
My walking boots are some of my most worn shoes. I usually only don them in the winter and fall, and I guess that last season I just wore them out. I've only had them for two years, so they get a lot of mileage. I discovered this shop when visiting some friends, and the shop came highly recommended. I tried this shop out, and the guy running it is incredible. By the looks of his shop, he gets plenty of business, but he had my boots back to me within one week. I also could not believe that he only charged $40 to fix the heel, give me new soles, and buff my boots! I tipped him $20 because of his expedience, care, and he was just so nice! Maybe the repairs were not as bad as I had thought. He will get my business over and over.
Tips
I would not take my shoes to anyone that did not come recommended. Shoes are too expensive to have someone mess up.
