Description of service

Replaced the heel on my favorite high heel shoes without having the repair be noticeable to others.

Review of Service

The shoemaker replaced the heel on my favorite shoe. He did such a professional job actually that I considered him to be an artist. He did such a great job that I couldn't tell by touching it or looking at the new heel that it had been replaced. When he put the pair together it was as if they were new.

Tips

I would suggest to anyone before they think of throwing out their favorite pair of shoes consider trying their local shoemaker. Especially if these are shoes you use often and fit into your wardrobe. Although I went 15 to 20 minutes out of my way, in the end it saved me time, money, and the pain my feet suffer when breaking in a new pair of shoes. While I was there I also learned that the shoemaker handles repairs on leather and suede items. He fixes coats, belts and purses. The repairs are great and for a fraction of the original cost of the item. This has extended the life of my wardrobe and put money back in my wallet.
