Description of service
The service is actually broken down into two seperate bills, the monthly average between the two is about $100. The initial installation and connection fee was actually very high, without a letter from a previous gas company I was going to get charged almost $1100 for a deposit and $200 for a deposit of electricity (this was waived as I simply transferred from the landlords account to mine - but I was still charged a connect fee of $50).
Review of Service
This is really kind of high for the service that I get, as the electricity really only runs the refrigerator. I am out of town most of the time so there isn't anything plugged in to draw electricity. As far as gas, the heater has been turned off and the stove is electric so there really isn't anything being used. The good news was the service went uninterrupted due to the landlord working with me, and the city worked with me as well. I have decent credit so my deposit wasn't as bad as it could have been.
Tips
There really aren't any good tips on this other than don't get behind to your current utilities if you plan to move at all. They can submit a letter on your behalf, which could save you a bundle in the long run.
