Description of service
What we actually have is a bundle package that contains the following services:
• Expanded Basic Cable
• Digital Cable with 1 tier of TV channels
• Local telephone service
• Nationwide long distance for $.05 cents a minute
• Caller ID
• High Speed Internet Preferred with PowerBoost
Speed: Up to 10Mbps of download speed
We've found though that the cost is actually somewhere in the neighborhood of 126/month after fees are added in. The advertised cost is 99.99/month. We originally got a deal that priced the services at 79/month, but that only lasted for 3 months. With the purchase of our HD TV, we chose to buy the HD add-on, which costs another 8 dollars a month. In all, the price is acceptable for the level of service and the number of services we receive.
If you pay another 40/month, you can receive a higher level of bandwidth, and more TV stations. That's the premium package, and the highest bundled level of service for the area, without adding on additional services.
If you are like most Americans, you may choose to forgo the home phone and rely on your cell phone. In which case, there are also bundles that do just internet and cable, which are roughly 79/month.
Review of Service
The services is quite good, for the money. I definitely recommend getting it, as it has been satisfactory.
