What a treat this was! I received a gift certificate for Christmas for the day spa, and was impressed when I discovered this particular spa offered microdermabrasion, which is something I had been interested in for some time. The day spa was the epitome of luxury and relaxation. The team of aestheticians was very professional and courteous, and I was pampered in a way I had never dreamed possible! The treatment, while a little expensive, was worth every penny I spent on it. There are some fine lines around my mouth and some minor lines around my eyes which I was concerned about, and the microdermabrasion was just what I needed. I left the day spa with brighter, rejuvenated looking skin, with results that are still lasting. My skin is still soft, smooth, with a definite glow that wasn't there before, and the appearance of the lines is greatly reduced. I highly recommend anybody who has the means get this done!
Tips
It isn't the most comfortable procedure in the world--it feels like a lot of waxing, actually. Your skin will probably be red and blotchy for a day or two afterwards, but it will be well worth it in the end!
