Description of service
This was the price we paid to have my husband's motorcycle towed. The bike was picked up by a local repair shop that specializes in certain motorcycles. This fee included towing from a grocery store parking lot (where it was when it would not start) to the motorcycle repair shop which was located about ten miles away. The bike was towed in a pick up truck that was equipped with a ramp and chains.
Review of Service
The towing and repair were reasonably priced. Towing is covered by our insurance policy; however, we had to meet the deductible first and we had not met it at the time of the tow. So, we ended up paying to have it towed! Next time something like this happens, we will just have a friend who has a pick up truck help us tow it. It was not too expensive to have it towed, but it would have cost nothing if we would have just towed it ourselves.
Tips
If you are able to tow the motorcycle yourself or with the help of friends, then do not pay someone else to do it! More than likely, you will be more careful with the bike and it will cost you nothing.
