Description of service
My bike broke down while I was at a friend's house. We weren't sure what happened, it just wouldn't start. cost $50 to tow the bike about 25 miles.
Review of Service
What a ripoff. The tow driver who showed up didn't even know how to secure the motorcycle on his flatbed! How is that possible? My buddy and I ended up having to get up there and get it secure. Then he towed it back to my house but there wasn't room in his tow (it was full of boxes of supplies) so I had to get a ride with my buddy. He did manage to figure out how to get the bike down and in my garage. So basically my buddy and I had to do most of the work. I called the towing company to complain. They just told me the guy was new and that they'd make sure to show him how to secure a bike like mine. Fat lot of good that did ME!
Tips
It's hard when you need a tow because you don't know who to go through and usually don't have time to look into getting recommendations. If you have an older car or bike it might make sense to look around and find someone you feel comfortable with before you need one.
