the Cost of Motorcycle Towing

Bike broke down in Utah and since it was under warranty the company was willing to pay up to 460.00 dollars for the tow, they sent a truck with a enclosed motorcycle trailer to pick us up, the closest dealership was in Arizona about 80-90 miles away, however we first stopped at the tow companies office where they told us there would be an additional charge to get us to Arizona. We were not told of this before we started the journey, we were 1200 miles away from home traveling cross country. I mentioned how I used to run a tow company in Ma.and would like to see a breakdown of the bill, when suddenly they said they made a mistake and it would not cost us any additional money! We were taken to the dealership for repairs without any out of pocket expenses. This tow company was in no way affiliated with the dealership.

Once the situation was resolved the service was good, we even had the owner of the company tow us, they took great care in loading and unloading the motorcycle and it was secured in the trailer very well.

When looking for a tow company, try to get a few quotes because prices do vary, sometimes by a lot. And get a written quote from the person towing before letting them touch your vehicle, we were lucky they backed down, if not we would have been paying a lot of extra money!
