Description of service
My motorcyle wouldn't run at the end of last summer, so I had to pay to have it towed to the dealership so their mechanic could look at it. I hired a towing service I found in the phone book. They came to my house, picked up the bike on a flat bed type of truck and towed it the approxamite 15 miles to the dealership. The total cost was a flat fee of $35 and I had to pay at the time of pick up.
Review of Service
The service was good, i guess, but I didn't think it was going to be a problem in the first place. It was very routine. Since I didn't need them to send a huge truck, they actually came to my house pretty quickly, just over an hour. The only problem I had was that they seemed to be a little ruff to my bike. They didn't cause any damage, but they sure didn't treat my motorcycle like I do - with extreme care.
Tips
I just called the same towing company I always use, but the first time I had to tow something I called around to several different places trying to find the cheapest price. You can do that, or see if a friend with a pick up truck would be willing to help you out.
