Description of service
When this gym opened in September 2006 (it was previously operated under by a different nationwide franchise), I thought that the $10 per month, no contract membership was too good to be true. Thinking it was a limited time only special, I signed up again. Despite the fact that the new franchise eliminated the classes, such as cardio kickboxing, spinning, pilates, and abs, as well as the child care center, the gym itself remained exactly the same with the exception of a new paint job. To this day, memberships are contract-free, and are still only $10 per month for the basic membership, which allows you to access any of the other franchises for only $5 per visit. There is an upgraded membership that allows you to visit any franchise location for free, which costs around $20 per month with a $40 annual fee.
Review of Service
The service at this gym is fantastic. Admittedly, I was concerned that I would need to find a new gym when the new franchise took ownership. I have been a member of this establishment since October of 2004 and have never experienced any problems with the employees, equipment, facilities, etc. I have also been a personal training client at this gym off and on since December of 2004, and this gym has some of the most highly trained and knowledgable trainers I have ever worked with.
Tips
If you are looking for a group exercise class, or if you require child care while at the gym, you will want to avoid this establishment. These specific features are not part of the image of the current franchise, and thus are not available at this location.
