Lessons for all skill levels of oil pastels and painting. One-time classes, as well as ongoing instruction for learning to draw and paint in all mediums.
Review of Service
I loved this art class. I am always looking for a fun, challenging outlet so I am not going out of my mind with boredom, and this is a class I would love to take again. Oil pastels are very unique to use, so instruction, for me, was necessary. The class covered the basics, and provided all materials with the exception of a roll of paper towels. We were given a choice of instruction in depicting a floral arrangement or a landscape, and when we were finished with the class, we had a very nice picture to bring home with us. It was definitely a lot of fun, but a use it or lose it type of skill. The instructors are very helpful, friendly, and professional, and had a lot of patience for beginners.
Tips
Bring a friend to this class to make it more enjoyable, and to inspire a little bit of friendly competition in your craft! Ask if there are follow-up instruction classes if it is something you enjoy, and wear clothing you don't mind ruining to class!
