Description of service
The service was an oil pastel painting class. It met 4 times and each session lasted for about two hours. We also had to bring our own paints and board. The $200 just represented fee for the class and instruction. It met at a local art gallery that is run by a community artist group and it is non profit.
Review of Service
The class was for my wife and she was very happy with it. She likes trying new things and getting involved in community womens type groups so this worked out well for her. Also got some decorations for the house out of it as a side bonus.
Tips
My tip would be to consider the option of participating in a similar art type class in your community. Or, in the alternative, give the classes as gifts like I did. More unique than the typical gift you unwrap under the Christmas tree, or for your birthday. If you are the type that has to have something to be unwrapped, you can still print out the class schedule or ticket to the class or whatever and put it in a box and wrap that. At any rate, consider giving it a try! Every time I gave a class as a gift it went over well!
