Description of service
I began using a personal trainer approximately five months ago because I thought it would give me more motivation to lose those last few pounds of extra baby weight. This is the price my trainer charged per hour of training. Their was an initial consultation fee of one hundred dollars. However, this fee is waived if you decide to contract with the trainer for a six week period. Also, this fee is in addition to our monthly membership fees we pay to the health club (this costs eighty dollars a month for a family of five). When I meet with my personal trainer, we usually do about thirty minutes of cardio, about twenty minutes of strength training, and about ten minutes of stretches.
Review of Service
I am still meeting with my personal trainer once a week. I have lost about twenty pounds in five months. My personal trainer keeps me motivated to go to the gym. Knowing that I will meet with him once a week and he will track my progress keeps me from slacking! Although dietary guidelines are not included with the personal training fee, our gym offers free diet counseling to all members. My trainer has worked with the dietician to create a plan that is specific to my needs. I am very happy with this trainer and I feel the price is extremely reasonable.
Tips
Make sure you feel comfortable with your trainer. Also, discuss details of the program before starting to understand what is included with the price of your personal trainer's fees.
