The service was fantastic, though I am not sure I will have my piano tuned with any kind of regularity as I am not an avid player. I had gotten an upright piano at a garage sale, and it was extremely out of tune, and the previous owner had no idea when and if the piano had ever been tuned. The cost would have only been around fifty dollars, but it was so far out of tune, and some strings needed to be replaced. Afterward, the piano went out of tune again fairly quickly, but the tuner advised this would probably happen for a number of reasons--the new strings needed to be stretched and would require several tunings before it would hold a tune properly, and the lack of maintenance and care on the piano previously made it harder to get into tune and may have been tuned to something called "false beats".

Ask friends or family if there is a service or tuner they recommend. There is also a Piano Technicians Guild that most reputable Piano tuners and technicians are a member of, though not all of them!
