Description of service
Removal of a humongous silver maple tree (half of which was about to fall on our garage because of a split in the trunk), 3 dead pine trees and 5 vastly overgrown yews. They pruned all the dead wood out of our multi-trunk cedar trees, and cut down 3 scraggly junipers that were planted far too close to the house. All the tree stumps were also ground out, including 3 or 4 extras from previous "home grown" removals.
Review of Service
Taking down the maple tree took a full crew an entire day using the biggest equipment they had. (This did not include grinding out the stump.) I was extremely impressed with the fellows who did the actual work. They showed up early, were exceptionally hard workers, cleaned up debris daily, and were most polite in answering my questions. They cleaned up trimmings, branches, etc. I was unable to get rid of in the past, due to city waste removal restrictions, inability to burn yard waste (it's illegal), and only having 15 garbage cans. When the work was finished, they showed me the job they’d done, asked me if I was happy, wanted to know if there was anything further they could do, and suggested things I might do in the future to help my landscape. I was very pleased.
Tips
Get 3 quotes, but go with your gut. Cheaper isn't always better, although the fellows I chose did have the low bid.
