Description of service
My wife has never gotten her driver's license because she is afraid to drive. She decided to try again and took this one day class. The cost was for a one day class but it was a group class, so you did not spend all day in the car. They take you on both a course and the main road. You do have to have your learner's permit before you can take this class. She spent about 2 hours total actually driving but was at the class from 8 AM to 5 PM on a Saturday.
Review of Service
My wife hated this class. She did not end up getting her license after taking it either. She felt rushed and pressured because there were 4 other students taking the class with her. She also felt like her one-on-one time was uncomfortable. The instructor was a man and he apparently yelled at her when she made a mistake on the main road (I was not with her during this portion of the class). She had a panic attack during the class and had to sit out of one of the sessions.
Tips
I think that my wife's panic/anxiety disorder really made this class worse than it would have been for someone without this disorder. The instructor was abrasive and impatient with the students, who were all adults. Most of the students were also there because they had to be for driving tickets etc. as part of their point reduction on their licenses, so the atmosphere was not the best. Be aware of the situation before you get into it. We did not know it was a group lesson and that was a big part of the problem.
