Description of service
I paid $50 a driving lesson for a total of six hours at a local driving school. My grand total was $300 including tax for this refresher course. This class was for cars with automatic transmissions and it was an adult driver program. The class was on Saturday mornings and I attended two 3 hour sessions. The lessons consisted of lectures, watching instructional videos and taking sample quizzes at the end of each session. The lectures and classroom instruction was two hours long and behind the wheel instruction was one hour.
Review of Service
The instructional material was interesting and I did complete the course final with only two lessons. I think the behind the wheel lessons were the most beneficial. I could have learned most of the other information on my own with a state driver's handbook from the DMV. This course was supposed to refresh me on the DMV road test. I passed the exam so I am quite happy for the price I paid.
Tips
This program let other students user their own car for instruction for an additional $30. I think this was beneficial for them since they learned a lot about the car's features. I used the car provided by the school and wish I had my own car at the time. I later found out that this driving school offered the course online and had another program of only driving instructions.
