Description of service
I bought a cabin that was completely vacant for the past 4 years. It needed a lot of repairs and since it was on the edge of a cliff, I knew that it was going to be pricey to get any done. The cost of the city permit was around $1500 and I needed to get new piping. I paid a total of $6500 to have my old septic tank removed and replaced. This price includes materials, taxes and labor fees.
Review of Service
The crew worked really fast and they were so nice for traveling through the canyons to get to my cabin. It took about 3 days to remove my old septic tank, piping and transport the materials to my cabin. The whole process took a week and I am extremely satisfied with the results. I had expected to pay around $3000 more than I was quoted. The crew bought all of the supplies and I was very grateful because I would never have known what to buy at the hardware store.
Tips
I did contact the local sanitation department and asked them for recommendations on what sort of septic tank I would need. The crew did a lot of digging and there was dust all over the property. It was pretty messy the entire week and I did have to prepare by transplanting some of my plants.
