It costs $97.25 to have a 2005 Toyota Land Cruiser shipped from Atlanta, GA to Gadsden, AL (about 250 miles). The shipping charge was $85.00 and they added fifteen percent gas surcharge of $12.25.
Review of Service
My husband bought a 2005 Toyota Land Cruiser from Atlanta, GA. So, rather than driving driving 250 miles home and making a return trip with somebody to deliver the car for him, he had the car shipped. The cost of shipping the car was worth the driving time and gas that it would have taken to make the return trip. The car was delivered to right location and was in good condition when delivered. Although, it was delivered within the promised time period, it did take more than a week to receive it (due to our location). The shipping company was easy to contact and they were very professional.
Tips
If you purchasing a car from out of state, having it shipped is great option for delivery. If you are planning on shipping a car, be sure to use a reputable shipping company. Make sure that they that they a have insurance and license to do business. You'll feel secure that you will receive your without damage.
