The service included shipping of a BMW 2002 3 Series on a truck from Los Angeles, California to New York, New York. The service also included insurance. I used a website to get various bids from different shippers and choose the one that maximizes the price and service based on the ratings that they accumulated. The agreement specified that the car will be shipped by itself on the truck as opposed to being shipped on those truck that ships many cars at a time. This service is usually more expensive and faster since there's no waiting around for the other cars to fill the trailer.

The service was great. This shipper had very good ratings and my experience matched the ratings. The service was door to door and the next morning after I got the phone call that the shipper was in the New York area the car was waiting for me at the designated parking lot that we agreed upon. It took six days from the time of the pick up to the time the car was in New York. I was very happy with both the shipper and the website for having such an organized website with the shippers' ratings.

When you list the car to be shipped on the website make sure to wait a few days to give a chance for shippers with lower cost to bid for the shipping.
