Description of service

This is the price we paid to enroll our son in spanish classes at a local language school. The classes were once a week for ninety minutes. There were four other students in his class. The price did not include the cost of a spanish book, a spanish workbook, and other basic supplies like a notebook and pencils. These totaled about one hundred dollars.

Review of Service

When our son's school stopped their spanish program, we decided to enroll him in spanish classes so that he would have some exposure to a different language. He only went for about six months because we thought it was too expensive and time-consuming with his other activities. My son felt the classes were boring and he just did not enjoy going on a weekly basis. Overall, he did learn some spanish, but not enough to really make an impact. This is probably because we do not speak spanish, so he was unable to practice his skills at home. Thankfully, his school is reinstating the spanish program for the upcoming school year.

Tips

Try to do some research to find out if there are private language tutors in your area. I have heard that private tutors are more effective because they offer a personalized, one on one experience.
