Description of service
My son has had a bit of a speech problem since he starting talking. He makes the T sound where the C or K sound should be. For example, he is learning to read the clock, and he calls it a tlock. I didn't think it was that much of a problem, but it was enough of one for the school (he's in the first grade) to call me and suggest speech classes. The school offers these classes, during school hours, for free. I do have to go to meet the teach about four times a year, but there is no cost whatsoever.
Review of Service
The service is great, I have noticed a huge difference in my son's speech. He now uses the C or K sound regularly, but is not totally cured of his speech problem. Since this is his first in the class, the teacher has ensured me that over time his speech will get better and that he will need classes next year. I'm glad that our school district offers this service for free, becasue from what I hear it can be pretty expenisve to pay for a private speech tudor.
Tips
You should call the school and see if they offer speech classes for free. If they don't, try searching the web for different tudor who can help you or your child.
