A fully functional website designed, with working blog, donation system, picture gallery. I sought out a web/graphic design student to design the website.

I found the student I was doing business with knowledgeable, although communicating my ideas to him was a little difficult. all in all I am happy with the result. Working with him required a lot of revisions and him presenting me with different ideas, although he was reluctant to run with his own ideas without approval, so this may cause problems for some people. I am a fairly knowledgeable person when it comes to things tech related, and I find that I am able to get across ideas fairly well in those terms, but for someone not skilled when it comes to that dealing with a person that has not had a lot of experience with soliciting their services and dealing with people will be hard.

Finding a professional, although more expensive is probably a better idea than soliciting a student. But if you have the percerverence, and the time, the money you save may be well worth it, and you get to help out a college student with real world experience and money for expensive classes and textbooks.
