I hired a local Internet service to set up a web page for my small business. I only wanted a one page site. It would include pictures of my store and cabins along with a write up about them and the area I lived in. Prices were not quoted. The service set of a email for interested people to contact which linked to my personal email.

I have had the service for two years now and have had very few problems. When I do, I contact them and they are right on it. I pay a monthly fee of $5.00 now; The $325 fee was for set up. As I am totally new to web pages, I felt it was a fair price compared to other web page designers. I get lots of hits on my site and people are always inquiring about my cabins. So I feel it was worth the cost. Also I easily recap the monthly charge with cabin rentals.

If you are a novice in the web service world as I am. Ask around different people if they can recommend a service. Look online. Once you find the service you feel is what you are looking for, meet if possible, to go over all the costs involved. Make sure you are happy with your page before signing on.
