Having a website created is by no means cheap, but the way I look at it is as an investment that will pay for it's self in the near future. Besides, you can't run a business today without a website. $2000 is for a ten page website that had a very simple flash animation. It had business information, contact, pictures and a variety of other standard web items. It is very professional which is probably why it cost what it did. It has worked great and increased business just as I thought it would.

The creative professionals at the design firm did a wonderful job of figuring out what I wanted as well as how I would like it to look while still allowing them to flex some creativity. It's all new to me so I don't know how prices for similar sites compare, but nothing is cheap anymore. I am happy with the site currently, but do have plans for in the future to add an online store to allow people to purchase right from the website.

Website production costs can greatly vary. Especially if you are not happy with the first draft and they have to go back to the drawing board. However the value far outweighs the cost of such an investment.
