Description of service
I had the tile in my bathroom replaced. I had a licensed contractor come out and take up the old tile and lay the new tile and grout. The total price for labor and materials came out to one thousand five hundred dollars. It took two days to take up the old tile and lay the new tile plus another twenty four hours for the tile grout to set. The contractor did not offer a gurantee on the tile because tiles can break but he did offer a gurantee on the grout work that it would not chip out. He also laid the floorboards back after laying the new tiles.
Review of Service
The service was good. He explained the process well and explained that the bathroom would have to be off limits for twenty four hours while the grout set up. The work was quality and has stood up so far. He took us to the store and let us pick out which tiles we wanted and after choosing travertin tiles he explained we could also choose our color of grout so we could go for a custom look. I was very happy with the outcome.
Tips
Make sure that you hire a licensed contractor. Also, if a room of your home will not be able to be used for a day or so make sure you have an alternative plan.
