Description of service
We visited Savannah, GA in the summer and we decided to take a trolley tour to see the interesting places we could go. The tour was $30 and once you had a pass, you could get off and at all the stops all day. The price included the actual tour with the guide giving you information as well as the transportation.
Review of Service
The tour was kind of boring. I wasn't too interested in what the tour guide was saying. I just wanted to get to different places in Savannah. As a tour, if you like that kind of thing when you travel, $30 is not too bad. I would say it's about average. As a form of transportation, it's a little steep. It worked out that we got to see different areas of the city we wouldn't have otherwise heard about but I didn't really want to hear the tour guide ramble in between stops.
Tips
In tourist cities, there are often many different tours at varying prices. If you're looking to tour a city, I would check out different routes and places. There might be some spots you really want to visit and that might rule out some tours. Aside from that, I rather just walk it or drive around myself.
