Description of service

A free trolley tour is provided by a factory and store in Anchorage, Alaska. It is supposed to take visitors or whoever around downtown Anchorage and will drop them off in 3 different locations: a shopping area near a mall, the Anchorage visitors center, and back to the factory. It is supposed to come by every 30 mintutes.

Review of Service

I am glad it was free, because it was very decieving. People are made to believe that the trolley tour is actually a tour of downtown Anchorage. When you think of a tour, you think of someone telling you about the area or places. We did not hear anything from the driver except for where she was stopping and when she would be back. I thought I was going to learn some new things about downtown Anchorage... not just see buildign and wonder what they were. I was very dissappointed.

Tips

If you are going to pay for a trolley tour, make sure that's exactly what it is. And not just a free ride with no information. Ask questions about the tour. You should find out if there will be any stops, when pick up is, and if they will be talking about what you can see on the tour.
