Description of service

The price quoted above is for a two hour tour aboard a trolley that runs around the main downtown and touristy areas of the city. The ride itself did not include any perks other than sitting down and seeing the city without having to transport myself around.

Review of Service

For what it was supposed to be, advertised as a no frills way to see the city and all of its various tourist destinations, the trolley tour was very nice. As it was a trolley that ran about the city on an electric engine, the ride was smooth and quiet, and the tour guide that was speaking at the front of the vehicle didn't have to use her loudspeaker to communicate the various sites of the city to us during the ride. The tour didn't have any specific stops along the way, which was kinda disappointing but at the same time preventing people from using it like public transportation to get from place to place. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave a lot of historical background on the specific sites as well as the city in general.

Tips

For anyone looking to take a trolley tour of a town, make sure that the tour has some sort of stop along the way so you aren't sitting for hours on your butt without getting up. Secondly, ensure the tour covers the district or some of the sites that you really want to see so that you aren't bored along the way as well. Finally, make sure that the tour guide (if it is a guided tour) is knowledgeable about the area.
