I needed a home appraisal because I wanted to refinance my house. The appraisal company came out within a few days of calling them. The appraiser came out and did everything in a few hours. When he first got here he assessed the land, He measure it to see how much ground we had. When he was finished he came inside to assess all the rooms. He measure them and then asked me if there were any repairs done to them. He also assessed the basement. I had my result back to me in a few days with the appraisal.

The service was great. He came out and took care of the appraisal in a timely manner. He made sure that he took everything into consideration such as the size of the rooms and the improvements that were made.
Tips
Make sure that you shop around for different prices. Also make sure that you know what you are getting the in the appraisal and that you are getting the fair price that you think your house is worth. If you are not sure who to use check with friend or family member if they can recommend someone to you. If not see if a realtor can recommend someone to you.
