Description of service
I dropped my daughter off at the at home camp everyday and two hours later she came home with a project that she created. The class was from 11-1 and in that time they did their craft, ate lunch, and watched a movie if time allowed. It was 5 dollars a day and the camp was 1 week long and if your child went all five days you got a five dollar discount. Monday through Thursday they did individual crafts, and on Friday they all got t-shirts that they made. It had the camp "logo" on the front, and my child's handprints and name on the back.
Review of Service
The sitter who hosted the camp was very nice and understanding with all the children. She was very kid oriented and I felt safe leaving my child with her. She helped each one individually, and the crafts showed it. It did not look as if they had a craft thrown in front of them and it was left to them to do it on their own. She was CPR certified with the American Red Cross, so this was snother plus to the at-home craft camp over the store's offering. It also gave me valuable time everyday to run errands childfree. I even got to go to lunch with my friends one day!
Tips
If you are looking for this type of activity for your child, I would ask other moms and look in the paper for at-home summer activities. Sometimes these can be less expensive and work out better for the kids and you as the parent.
