Description of service
Our local library sponsors basket weaving classes on a regular basis, about one a month. The classes are limited to ten people and taught by a local artist. Each class is about 2 hours long. At each class supples are provided and the instructor teaches you how to weave one small basket. She talks about the materials and the style of weaving and then demonstrates how to make the basket. She has examples of the basket in different stages of development. Each class covers a different project and different type of weaving. You get to take your finished project home with you.
Review of Service
The service in this class is very good. The class size is kept small so everyone gets attention and help from the instructor. The projects are small as well, so they can be finished in one class period. The supplies are always very nice, no cheap stuff used in this class. The classes start and end on time and the instructor answers questions well.
Tips
Take a few classes and get to know your classmates, I've made some friends that way. Check to be sure supplies are included. If they are not get a list of supplies ahead of time and check prices before you sign up for the class.
