Description of service
We had a group basket weaving class with 20 people. The cost was $40 per person and that did not include materials. It did include a discount for a large group.
Review of Service
My youth group took a basket weaving class together. We were given a list of materials to buy. We also had the option to buy the materials at the class but they were highly priced. The group went in and there was an instructional part by the teacher. She walked us through wetting the reeds and showed us how to make our form. She showed us how to dye some of the reeds different colors. It was really neat and we learned a lot. Everyone had a lot of fun and got to go home with our own baskets. IT was cool that we bought our own materials too because then we had everything we needed to make it on our own later at home.
Tips
Try to get a group together so you can get a group discount. It's a fun project for a bunch of beginners to do together and can be pretty cheap. Try to find instructors who are good at working with groups and have a lot of experience.
