the Price of Basket Weaving Classes

The class covered all lessons in intermediate basket weaving with flat reeds and round reeds. The price covered all materials used in addition(49.00) to the tutorials that spanned over a four week period(100.00), with one class a week that lasted approximately an hour and a half. There was no tax added as the class was given at a local school.

I was very pleased with the class. At first I thought it sounded a bit pricey, but after learning the craft of basket weaving, I realized it's a skill that can pay for itself ten-fold. I think it was a very reasonable price to pay for a lifelong skill. Even though it was just an intermediate class, I was taught fundamentals applicable in even the most advanced stages of basket weaving. I was also shown how I can find materials right outside my door, so it's not always necessary to pay for expensive reeds in a craft store. I think that alone is priceless!

I would suggest looking for a class offered at a local school rather than a craft store, as you will tend to get more knowledgeable and patient tutelage. Also, schools tend to offer a more flexible schedule, allowing you to choose from a couple different time slots, as opposed to the more rigid lesson schedules of craft stores.
