Description of service
One downstairs bathroom painted two coats of semi-gloss color on walls and one flat coat of white on ceiling. Bathroom included one window, one vanity, one shower, one toilet, medicine cabinet and one door. Small hole in drywall behind door where door knob had hit the door needed patching and attachment was put on door, so door would not bang into wall again. Total cost for supplies including paints, door attachment, spackling for hole totaled $50. Total cost of labor cost $250. Total amount of time to complete job was one full day.
Review of Service
Painting service was excellent. Two people work the business, but because the bathroom was so small, only one person actually did the fixing and painting. The repair job behind the door was very smooth. The two coats of paint were excellent. Cleanup was handled by the painter and there were no messes or anything broken. All light switches and outlet plates were put back in place. All pictures and lights were put back on the walls. When the job was finished, I did not need to do anything.
Tips
Get the name of a painter that has painted for someone in your neighborhood, or has painted for a family member. Personal recommendations are the best when it comes to hiring a painter. The painter should also be bonded, in case anything gets broken or is fixed incorrectly.
