To get broadband internet service on my mobile device I pay $59.99 a month. This service covers everything from my having corporate email forwarded to my phone, to internet access on the device and even includes tethering my device to a laptop so I can use the internet on my computer as well. I only get the broadband service in certain locations, mainly larger more urban areas, and the service falls back to a slower service when I'm in more rural areas.

The service is great. My city has the broadband access, and I travel the country for work every week and I have yet to find a place that I couldn't get broadband. The service is advertised at over one and a half mega bits per second, but I usually average just about one mbps. I had some problems getting it started up, something went wrong with the software installation, after we got it up and running it has been a flawless service for me.

Since I travel, I had to go with a nationwide carrier that could offer nationwide roaming with out extra fees. I did notice in some cities they have smaller companies that offer local only service at a much lower price, but you can roam out of that city's area. Find out what fits your needs and go with the best deal as most cellular providers share the same towers anyway.
