the Cost of Mobile Broadband Internet Access for a Phone

To get mobile broadband service on my mobile phone, I pay my nationally known cellular phone company a flat monthly fee of $15. This price includes unlimited access to the Internet on my phone only, I have to pay extra in order to use the phone for a modem on my computer.

The service is good. I have what they call 3G service in my home town and it works great. I have noticed that the browsing speed is way faster than dial up, and watching video is a breeze. I also like to stream music on the internet, and the broadband connection makes the quality a whole lot better. I have noticed though that this 3G broaband internet is not available in all areas, but is in most major cities. When I don't have broadband coverage my phone has an indicator that tells me I have roamed into a 2G area that does not support 3G service.

I don't use it that much, but paying $15 a month isn't that bad compared to what I get. You have to shop around to find the best price because some mobile companies will charge double or triple the amount I pay with my providor.
