the Cost of Mobile Broadband Internet Access for a Phone

I have been with my cellular company for about 2 years and recently updated to mobile internet access. I asked them of various internet packages available and they offered me $25/month with unlimited access to any site for one year. I also enjoy free downloads and access to online radio included in the package. When I signed up, I got 2 months free.

It's great! I don't use home internet as much since I am always on the go and having mobile access is so convenient. I check my mails anytime whether in the car or while shopping. I use my mobile internet for checking e-mails (personal and work), downloading music, listening to radio, playing games and browsing. The only drawback is I am in a contract for this offer for one year. Basically, that means that if I stop using my internet, I am still obliged to pay the additional $25 on top of my phone plan.

If you are an old customer with your cellular company, talk to them regarding what you want and how they can help you. You might have to negotiate and sometimes if you are lucky, you might get a really good deal (for examples 2 months free). If you are not going to use the internet, don't sign the contract for one year. It's a waste of money. If you know for sure that mobile internet is something you need, then only take it up. They have smaller packages but that may/may not include unlimited access.
