Description of service

One year membership includes internet advertising and processing fee. Plus discounts on business products and services and networking events. There are many networking events each month. Also, access to information on business throughout the country and job listings.

Review of Service

I think membership in the Chamber is really helping my business. I have a service business which relies on referrals more than advertising for clients.

I enjoy the breakfast network meetings. I have gone to three and each time I met a lot of really great people who hadn't heard of my company. I have a stack of business cards and leads to call.

The Chamer has golf outings

Tips

If you have several local Chambers in your area and you don't know which one to join, try to attend a few networking meetings before you commit. You may have to pay a little more for the admission, but it is worth it. You will see if you get along with the other members and if they have services to help your particular business.

Also, explore their website for the discounts on products. You could save your entire membership fee, particularly in the area of insurance, advertising and shipping.

As in most things, the more you put in, the more you receive. If you go the meetings/events and keep your company name out, you will see an incease in business.
