I hate the dentist - I've been known to skip dental appointments out of sheer, paralysing fear. This doctor was different - my mouth felt fine after cleaning, he filled the tooth that needed it, and I was on my way, still numb but feeling fine. You can get good dental work for a decent price!

Shop around. Don't be afraid to leave a dentist that isn't treating you delicately - your gums and teeth are sensitive, and deserve to be treated as such. And don't be cheap: you have to pay to get what you need.
