The entire process took at least an hour from the time I arrived at the clinic to the time I paid. For a dental visit, this was a very stress-free experience. The treatment took place in an enclosed room where you can lie down on a bed instead of a chair that merely reclines. I appreciated the effort the clinic took in trying make a patient feel as relaxed as possible by mimicking a spa experience from the piped-in instrumental music to the dim lighting in the room. The hygienist took the time to ask me whether I was feeling comfortable with each procedure she performed. She was also very conscientious about observing proper hygiene; even I was provided with protective goggles.

After the procedure, the dentist met with me to discuss future treatment options. I liked that there was no hard sell about getting cosmetic work done on my teeth. Instead, they highlighted the treatment needed to improve dental health.

Make sure you have alternative dates ready before booking your appointment and that you can block off at least an hour for the appointment.

Ask how many people are booked before, together with, or after you. When a clinic is fully booked, they might be tempted to rush through your procedure.
