Description of service
It is the end of winter, and it is time to put up the winter clothes. Every spring I take my coat into the dry cleaners to have it cleaned and bagged to be stored away for the summer. This past spring, last month in fact, I took my large winter coat, which is a cotton and polyester blend, to the dry cleaners. They cleaned it, and put it in a storage bag for a fee of $12. With taxes the total was actually around $15.
Review of Service
I use this service every year, and the price has been about the same every year. I get my other clothes dry cleaned by the same company, so I am a regular customer of theirs. They treat me very nicely, and I really appreciate that. Plus, the prices are always fair and I like that even more. The time my coat spends in storage can really depreciate the material, so bagging it helps prevent it from stains and bugs.
Tips
If you have to dry clean your coat, call around to different places to see who can give you the best deal. Most of the time you can just clean it yourself, and that saves a lot of money. You can also get do-it-yourself dry cleaning kits from your local grocery store.
