I dropped off my winter coat for a good cleaning at the Cleaners. Its a local chain of cleaners and they offer same day pickup (after 4:00) if the item is dropped of by 9:00 am PST. and next day pickup if dropped off after the cutoff times. They also have a full service lineup for alterations, laundry and large item cleaning. I have used this particular chain before as well as similar dry cleaners in the area. I dropped of my items after the cutoff of 9.00 am so I expected to pickup the items the following day. My coat was ready when I arrived the next afternoon and its seemed clean, fresh and in the same conditions as when I dropped off the items. The staff is always courteous and attentive.

Check or call before arriving. With these next day pickup cleaners, most don't accept check and they charge an additional fee (.50 cents) to use debit or credit cards. Always good to have some cash on hand when you are planning to drop off some items. Some shop allow you to pay when you pick it up but I noticed many more require that you pay for the items at drop off. Also watch the cutoff for delivery and especially pickup. When it says after 4 pm that day, chances are your items will not be available before that time.
