Description of service
At the begining of last winter I drug my winter coat out to find that it was stinky and dirty. I took it to the local dry cleaners to have it cleaned, pressed and treated with a leather treatment. The total cost for the service was $17.63. I dropped the coat off one day, and was told that it would be ready the next day - which it was.
Review of Service
The service was good, but I didn't really expect much. I just wanted my coat to be wearable again and that is exactly what I got. I've never had to use this type of dry cleaning before, but I have been told that the price I paid was just about the average for a coat like mine. I really liked how they added the leather treatment, it made my coat look like new again. If I have to use a service like this again, and hopefully I won't, I will go to the same dry cleaners - the service was that good.
Tips
There aren't too many dry cleaners by my neck of the woods. My wife told me that I could have bought a do it yourself dry cleaning kit from the grocery store and not have had to spend as much money, but I really didn't want to fool with it. If you call around, you can usually find a good price at a place near you.
