Description of service
The service was a visiting to the local Urgent Care facility after I slammed my finger into my car door (very painful, I recommend never doing this !) The end result was a broken finger, but I didn't know that it was broken at the time. They basically put it into a splint, gave me some painkillers, and told me to see my primary care physician on Monday (this was a Saturday afternoon). The $50 represents my copay portion of the bill after insurance. I have a standard $50 copay for any Urgent Care, or Emergency Room visits.
Review of Service
Honestly, I was pretty upset with the service. I had to wait what seemed like too long while I was in some pretty serious pain. Also, all they did was x-ray it then wrap it up and told me to see my regular doctor in a few days. I left with the impression that they were passing the problem onto somebody else and didn't do much to actually help me. Maybe I was just frustrated because of the pain, but I left that place pretty upset.
Tips
My tip would be to go to your actual doctors', or even a hospital, if and when it is possible to do so. I never have good experiences with Urgent Care facilities!
