Description of service
For my ski instruction i received a private lesson with an experienced ski instructor. We started on the bunny slope to go over the basics of skiing. He started by explaining how to stop, turn, and go faster. When it came time to actually go on the mountain we had to go on a ski lift and as we ascended my instructor went over the basics on how to get off the ski lift. As the day went on he kept teaching me more and more advanced techniques. The payment was separate from all my other rentals. I rented my gear from a private dealer and took them on the mountain. The lesson was around 55-60 dollars and came out to around 65 with tax. I then tipped the ski instructor 10 dollars as a token of thanks for helping me.
Review of Service
The overall experience of the ski instruction was very positive. I fell i got my moneys worth for it. I learned a great deal about skiing and all the etiquette that goes a long with it. The only bad thing about the ski instruction was that i paid for a lot of hours of instruction, but half the time i was on the lift waiting to go down the mountain again.
Tips
For people looking to get ski instruction i would advise to look for local people by the mountain to teach. Their prices were lower and i am sure the instruction would have been just as good. Also if you are planning to get taught by the people that work at the resort, then i would advise you to rent at their lodge because they have plenty of package deals.
