Description of service
The price includes a group lesson, a beginner lift ticket, and rental equipment (skis, boots, and poles). The group session lasted a few hours and provided a good introduction on how to learn to ski. They covered the basics, such as how to get in and out of your skis, how to successfully push off, how to turn, what to do if you fall, how to use your poles, etc. The beginner lift ticket allowed me to use this new found knowledge on some of the very basic trails.
Review of Service
It is somewhat embarrassing, living in the North East of the United States and never having learned how to ski as a child. I was self conscious of doing a group lesson where I thought there would be a lot of kids. Thankfully, there were other adults in the course as well, and the instructors did a good job of imparting the necessary knowledge to successfully navigate the trails in a calm, and professional manner. They also worked with me to answer questions that I had about things I did not understand.
Tips
Do not be afraid to look stupid by asking questions. Skiing is a fun, but potentially dangerous sport, and it is better to learn things properly so that you can participate safely.
